Three houses, one uniform and flexible solution

Instead, the renowned 121-room hotel decided to seamlessly integrate existing and new infrastructure with a flexible hospitality TV solution. "Our technology partner WETA digital solutions presented us with various solutions and recommended primetime as the most future-proof option," explains Thomas Vogt.

For Valbella Resort, this means mapping different technological starting points in a uniform system while leaving room for further development. Accordingly, the solution in the older buildings is operated via cable television (DVB-C), while direct streaming is used in the newer buildings. All TV content is centrally processed and provided by primetime.

This approach proved to be spot on for Valbella Resort: "This solution is perfect for our three building complexes. We have fewer technical failures, our team has less work to do, and guests benefit from an intuitive experience. In short: more convenience and less effort for everyone involved," says Thomas Vogt enthusiastically.

At the same time, investments can be planned step by step and expansions implemented easily—without dependence on existing cabling or device standards. "With a hotel, you always have to keep investing," says Thomas Vogt. "And if we wanted to expand, it would be relatively simple with this solution."

Proactive communication and efficient implementation

Together with primetime and WETA digital solutions, the Valbella Resort also implemented a CI/CD-compliant landing page and an information channel. This gives guests direct access to the latest information. Content can be managed centrally and displayed on all screens in the resort, regardless of which of the three buildings the guests are in. Especially in a resort structure that has grown over time, this uniformity ensures orientation and a consistent guest experience.

But it wasn't just the solution itself that was impressive, but also the process of getting there. "What I particularly appreciated about working with primetime and WETA digital solutions was the proactive communication, the understanding of our requirements, and the efficient implementation," summarizes Thomas Vogt. Decisions could be made pragmatically, adjustments implemented quickly, and open questions clarified directly.

Today, Hospitality TV runs smoothly and reliably at Valbella Resort – regardless of buildings, devices, or technical conditions. The solution reduces the operational burden, is flexibly expandable, and grows with the hotel. For guests, this means the same high-quality infotainment experience in all buildings. For the resort, it means less complexity, more peace of mind in operations, and a solution that will continue to deliver in the future.
